On July 28, 2015 , Millburn Police Officer Nacim stopped a pedestrian at the intersection of Millburn Ave and Baltusrol Way after the pedestrian almost walked into the patrol car. On July 28, 2015 , Millburn Police Officer Pinero responded to Sunglass Hut at The Mall at Short Hills on a theft report. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau. On July 29, 2015 , Millburn Police Officer Lanni responded to the intersection of Millburn Ave. The driver reported that his 1990 Jaguar XJ6 started to smoke while he was driving so he pulled his vehicle over and exited. On July 29, 2015 , Millburn Police Officer Manuyag responded to Michael Kars at The Mall at Short Hills on a theft report. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau. On July 30, 2015 , Millburn Police Officer Manuyag responded to Hickory Rd. on a report of a parked suspicious vehicle with heavy front end damage. Hoe fijn een Jaguar XJ6 ook is, op een gegeven moment kan het tijd worden voor iets anders. Het is geen al te sportieve auto, maar is ook niet het toppunt van luxe, daarvoor hebben ze in Engeland twee andere merken. Zij het door luxe, zij het door sportiviteit of misschien wel door terreincapaciteit. Welke generatie XJ6 Stan precies heeft weten we niet, maar voor 15 mille kun je vrijwel elke generatie XJ vinden, op het laatste model na. Het is echter wel veel van hetzelfde, het gevolg van evolutie in plaats van revolutie. Je zou voor een dikke XJR kunnen gaan, schitterende auto’s natuurlijk, maar het blijft een XJ. Een andere Jaguar die je kunt overwegen is de XK8/XKR. Verwacht geen zeer sportief weggedrag, het is geen sportwagen maar een comfortabele GT. Gezien ook Land-Rover bij de voorkeursmerken staat, gokken we dat sportiviteit niet per sé een eis is. Een Defender is één brok karakter, maar als je echt 15.... Een Discovery rijdt al een stuk beter over verharde wegen, zonder al te veel te hoeven inboeten in het terrein. Het weggedrag van oude Range Rovers (generatie 1 en 2) kun je het beste vergelijken met een boot. Een MG ZT zou kunnen, maar een écht snelle auto is dat met de V6 niet, de briljante V8 valt helaas buiten budget. Voor 10 tot 15 mille koop je best een nette Silver Shadow (of Bentley-broertje T2), al moet je wat extra geld reserveren voor onderhoud. Source: www.autoblog.nl

Jeg købte den og var pavestolt, da jeg kort efter kunne køre i den ud til årets første Grøn Koncert, hvor jeg også det år var konferencier. Falck blev tilkaldt Først da fik jeg en fagmand til at kigge på den, og det viste sig, at bilen havde dobbelt-karosseri, og at den indvendig var fuldstændig ædt op af rust, og motoren fejlede alt muligt. Pludselig så jeg ikke så imponerende ud, når jeg kom kørende til festivalpladsen, hvor den også flere gange måtte hentes af Falck - det var ydmygende. Så gik der et par måneder, og så ringede bilens ejer til mig og sagde, at hvis jeg købte den nu, så ville han godt sælge den for 12. 000 kroner, for nu skulle han altså af med den inden for en måned. Og så slog jeg til og kørte rundt i den i et helt år - og den kørte ganske vidunderligt - hvorefter jeg solgte den til en god bekendt for 20. 000 kroner. Spar ikke alt for meget Jeg kommer fra noget klassisk dansk sparsommelighed, og det, jeg har tabt flest penge på, det er, når jeg har sparet penge.
