The mirrored lens craze is in full effect, even Hans Solo a. k. a. Harrison Ford has joined in on the band wagon. The actor went cruisin' in Los Angeles with his retro whip, but nothing completes a cool ride if you don't own a pair of cool looking shades. Harrison sported the famous brand Quay and while other celebrities are donning the gold and silver mirrored frames, Harrison went against the grain and rocked a fiery red mirrored lens. The exact Quay shades that Harrison is wearing are unavailable but you can buy a similar version at Nasty Gal. Harrison's shirt matched his 1955 Jaguar XK 140, which he was seen refuelling at a petrol station near his home. Sure, us Earthlings, call it Jaguar XK140, a sportscar manufactured between 1954 and 1957. It’s the successor of the XK120, a marvel indeed. If our automotive history book tells the truth, the XK140 was powered by the Jaguar XK engine with the Special Equipment modifications from the XK120. We’re looking at a total output of 190 bhp gross at 5500 rpm, as standard. Sure, the pretentious customers could also opt for the optional C-Type cylinder head, carried over from the XK120 catalogue, and producing 210 bhp gross at 5750 rpm. Getting back to Harrison Ford, it's safe to say the 73-year-old Hollywood icon looked quite relaxed while rolling around Beverly Hills. Photogs were there, as usual, to capture the actor’s every move, but by the looks of it the Star Wars star couldn’t care less.
