Fairfield man charged with threatening wife. Emir Arslanagic, 39, of Fairfield, was arrested Saturday morning after he allegedly threatened his wife with a hunting knife during an argument. According to the police report, she told officers while she sat in a chair he allegedly waved a sheathed five-inch hunting knife around and threatened to burn down the house, then he pushed her out of the chair onto the concrete floor. She told police she locked herself and their 11- and 9-year-old daughters in the bedroom and called her sister in New York who called the police, the report said. Man charged with stealing items in car parked in commuter lot. A 43-year-old Bridgeport man was arrested at state Superior Court in Bridgeport last Friday morning for allegedly stealing items from a car parked in a commuter lot located on the Black Rock Turnpike near the Merritt Parkway. Warren Center man charged after police chase - Towanda Daily Review

A Warren Center man was taken into custody Wednesday following a police chase in Warren Township that lasted several miles, police said. State police at Towanda said the incident began at 6:18 p. m. Wednesday, when they observed 24-year-old Rowan Hollis Bond driving a vehicle with an expired inspection sticker and no license plate on state Route 1038 in Warren Township, and pulled... During the traffic stop, Bond started his 1997 Nissan Sentra and fled the scene, police said. State police said they pursued Bond's vehicle for several miles with their lights and siren activated. Troopers said they were able to block Bond's vehicle as it arrived at his family's home on Warren Center Road, and Bond's vehicle came to a stop. However, Bond locked his vehicle's doors and refused to exit the vehicle, police said. State police ordered Bond multiple times to exit his vehicle, but he refused, police said. However, after Bond's father spoke with him, he did exit his vehicle and police took him into custody, police said. Rowan Bond was charged with fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, resisting arrest, driving a vehicle without a license plate, and driving a vehicle without a current inspection sticker, police said.
