El teniente Félix Fuentes, del Distrito de Corozal, identificó al hombre como Vicente Rivera Rivera, de 49 años y vecino del barrio Padilla, del citado municipio. Commissioner Fritz sues drivers in husband's I-5 accident death - Portland Tribune

Portland City Commissioner Amanda Fritz is suing a driver and a Portland oil company for wrongful death in the September accident that killed her husband, 54-year-old Dr. Steven Fritz, on Interstate 5 in Salem. Fritzs lawsuit claims that 53-year-old Michael Lippmann and Carson Oil Co. driver Ryan Wilson were responsible for her husbands death, and the death of his passenger, 64-year-old co-worker Cary Fairchild, because of their negligence. 24, 2014, when his pickup collided with a Carson Oil tanker truck, sending the Ranger across the median and into a head-on collision with Steven Fritzs zebra-striped 1993 Nissan Sentra. Fritz is seeking $9. 5 million in damages on behalf of Steven Fritzs estate. His zebra-painted Sentra, with the license plate ZENTRA, was well known at the hospitals Salem campus. Amanda Fritzs lawsuit claims the accident happened because Lippmann and Carson Oil employee Wilson were driving at a high rate of speed north on I-5 in heavy rain and failed to maintain control of their vehicles. Lippmann and Wilson also should have exercised reasonable care and should have known that their actions created an unreasonable risk of harm to others, according to Fritzs complaint.
