New London man killed in accident - Norwalk Reflector

A New London man died Tuesday from injuries sustained in a two-vehicle crash on Ohio 545 near Hoover Road. Deven Phillips, 20, of New London, was driving north at 4:18 p. m. Tuesday on Ohio 545 in Madison Township when his 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier was struck by a southbound 1999 Ford F150 driven by Eric Gramley, 27, of Mansfield. State highway patrol troopers said Gramley drove off the right side of the road, overcorrected, drove left of center and struck Phillips head-on. The Mansfield post of the State highway patrol was assisted on scene by the Madison Township Fire Department and the Mansfield City Fire Department. Source: www.norwalkreflector.com

Crime Reports KHTS publishes crime reports in alphabetical order by community as they are made available. Here are the crime reports for Canyon Country East, Canyon Country West, Newhall, Saugus and Stevenson Ranch. An assault with a deadly weapon occurred outside of a business near the 18200 block of Soledad Canyon Road in Canyon Country. The suspect was observed by a loss prevention agent selecting items and then exiting the location without making any attempt to pay for the store merchandise. When confronted, the suspect ran from the location, dropping his cell phone in the process. When the suspect returned to recover his cell phone, he was detained and arrested upon the arrival of deputies. A petty theft occurred at a business near the 19300 block of Golden Valley Rd. , Canyon Country. While conducting store video surveillance of the sales floor, the store manager observed the suspect exit the store with unpaid store merchandise. The suspect was detained by store loss prevention and arrested upon the arrival of deputies. Cedar Hill man crashes pickup into big rig stopped at highways 30, NN - Leader Publications

Briggs, 41, of Benton, La. , was driving the big rig. Koehler sustained moderate injuries and was taken by Big River Ambulance to St. Anthony’s Medical Center in south St. Louis County.
