Nissan GT-R Nismo GT500 Takes Third Straight Win Of Season. Round 4 of the Super GT Championship was held in blistering heat at Fuji Speedway last weekend and the #24 D'station ADVAN GT-R of Daiki Sasaki and Michael Krumm grabbed victory in the GT500 class. With this the Nissan GT-R NISMO GT500 has achieved a 3-round winning streak, following on from round 2 at Fuji and round 3 at Buriram, Thailand. Furthermore, with the #12 CALSONIC IMPUL GT-R of Hironobu Yasuda and JP Oliveira coming home in third and the #1 MOTUL AUTECH GT-R of Tsugio Matsuda and Ronnie Quintarelli finishing fourth, they are now first and second respectively in the... Having achieved very good results thus far in the season, both the #1 GT-R and #12 GT-R have been assigned handicap weights exceeding 50kg. Consequently, they have been fitted with fuel restrictors that limit the supply of fuel to the engine. As a result, the two cars struggled during the official qualifying sessions, leaving the #12 starting the final race from 8th and the #1 from 11th on the grid. Starting behind the wheel of the #24 GT-R, Krumm protected their 6th position in the opening stages and then went on to climb up one spot before handing the car over to Sasaki. Ancaster Group buys Nissan dealership from WLMG - AM-online

Ancaster Nissan - part of the Ancaster Group – has bought the Dover Road, Slough dealership from WLMG (West London Motor Group). The group, which was founded in 1949, has been with Nissan since it launched in the UK as Datsun in the 1970s and now operates Nissan franchises in Bromley, Eltham, Penge, South Croydon. The acquisition of WLMG Slough - Ancaster Group's fifth Nissan franchise - makes the group the second largest Nissan retailer in the South East. Two of Ancaster's sites have recently undergone major redevelopments to install Nissan's new customer-focused retail concept and a similar redevelopment of the new Slough site will take place soon. He said: "We are delighted to have added such a prominent and successful site to our growing portfolio of Nissan sites across London and the South East. South London Ancaster Group is a six dealerships business with 190 staff selling new Fiat, Hyundai and Nissan cars at sites in the city, Bromley, South Croydon and Welling as well as offering servicing and Motability and business sales. The end result is a mind-blowing 592bhp and 0-62mph in just 2. 9 seconds – making it more than half a second quicker than a Porsche 911 Carrera 4 and the first-ever supercar crossover. The GT-R’s 3. 8 V6 feels almost too much for the Juke’s tiny frame and you feel like the chassis is wrestling to keep the engine from bursting out of the bonnet – yet it handles remarkably well. But, thanks to four-wheel drive, Nissan have got all that power down on the ground and it had no problem blasting round the curves of Silverstone’s Stowe mini circuit. The Juke-R is actually available to buy but you’d need to be a Duke to afford it at a wallet-shredding £400,000. So, you have to pay for the black sheep of the Nissan family – but it looks like nothing else on the road.
