Dave bought his Ranger new off the lot in 1997 and has been upgrading it ever since. Woman killed in early morning St. Pete accident - WFLA

(WFLA) – Jennifer Lee Miller, 46, has died after being struck by a pickup truck near the 2300 block of Central Avenue in St. Petersburg early Sunday morning St. Petersburg Police say a 1997 Ford Ranger driven by 62-year-old Dennis Jones struck and... Jones briefly turned his attention away from the eastbound lanes of the road and failed to notice the pedestrians crossing in front of him, police say. When Jones looked back at the road, he saw the group of people and swerved left to avoid them, the police department said. His attempt to avoid the group failed and Jones struck Miller with the front of his truck, throwing her onto the hood of the vehicle and then onto the roadway. Miller was transported to Bayfront Health in St. Petersburg where she was pronounced dead upon arrival.
