Truck hits, kills pedestrian in early-morning crash - ABC Action News
- A truck hit and killed a pedestrian near downtown St. Petersburg early Sunday morning. Driving a 1997 Ford Ranger, Dennis Jones, 62, was driving east along the 2300 block of Central avenue when he struck and killed a woman who was crossing the street with a group of people. According to St. Pete Police, Jones had turned away from looking at the road briefly and did not see the group of pedestrians and tried to veer out of the way. Source: www.abcactionnews.com
