No injuries were sustained in a two-vehicle crash at Country Roads 9 and 28 in Phillips County Wednesday, Aug. Thomas Wilson, 57, of Haxtun, was charged for failure to yield right-of-way at an uncontrolled intersection. The intersection was visually blocked due to the tall corn field between the two vehicles. Missing father of golfer Billy Hurley found safe in Texas - TV Newsroom

Leesburg police say Hurley left his home on July 19 in his green 1998 Ford F150 truck with Virginia registration HWY-5898. Their son, Billy Hurley III is playing this week’s Quicken Loans National while enduring a family crisis _ his father, Willard Hurley Jr. , has been missing for the past nine days. The professional golfer stated adamantly his dad has no history of mental illness, so to guess why he left would be, as Hurley said, “complete speculation”. The library employee said Hurley came in on Thursday afternoon and used a computer to get PGA tour information. It is likely that Mr. Hurley spent the night here at a local hotel and continued on his journey the next day. The decision to announce his father’s disappearance made a big difference, Dube said. “I did make the cut so I think that I will try and continue to play”, said the American, who has recorded just one top-10 in 25 starts on the 2014-15 PGA Tour , a tie for eighth at the CIMB Classic in November.
