Tall corn field blocks view; vehicles collide - Holyoke Enterprise
No injuries were sustained in a two-vehicle crash at Country Roads 9 and 28 in Phillips County Wednesday, Aug. Thomas Wilson, 57, of Haxtun, was charged for failure to yield right-of-way at an uncontrolled intersection. The intersection was visually blocked due to the tall corn field between the two vehicles. Wilson’s vehicle, a 1998 Toyota pickup, was traveling southbound on County Road 9 approaching the intersection with County Road 28.
