11, a deputy was dispatched to Barrow Commercial Tire on Loganville Highway, where a man reported the theft of two surveillance cameras. A video shows a red Ford F-150 pickup, possible from the years 1998 to 2002, and driven by a white man. The man is seen ripping the cameras off the building. 10, investigators recovered some items stolen from Smith’s Funeral Home at a home on Giles Road. Deputies had viewed a security video at the funeral home which showed a red pickup enter the property at 4:49 a. m. on June 23. A white man exited the truck and took several items from the side of the building. Investigators later located a truck similar to the one in the video on Giles Road, where a red water hose and hose reel were recovered. 4, an investigator went to a used car dealership and located a car that a man had reported stolen while in the parking lot of Walmart in Winder. The dealership said the man still owed money on the car. The complainant denied owing any money and showed the deputy a title to the car. The deputy told the business to return the car to the man and handle the matter in civil court. 18, a deputy was dispatched to a home in Winder, where a man said he and his neighbor engaged in a verbal dispute. The man explained he was trying to negotiate a grass cutting job with a resident, when a third man came over and told the resident not to deal with him because he has a criminal record. A Phenix City man charged with second degree vehicle homicide in an April 28 crash on Victory Drive had worked a 12-hour shift at the Kellogg plant before he veered into another lane and struck another vehicle, Columbus police testified in... Police officer William Campbell told the court that Church had worked a 12-hour shift at the Kellogg plant before he attempted to drive home. He was headed westbound in the left lane when his 2004 Ford F-150 pickup veered in the back of a 2002 GMC Envoy Denali driven by a 30-year-old woman while she was in the turning lane. After Church’s vehicle struck the GMC, Campbell said the impact pushed the SUV into the path of Gilbert’s 2008 Chrysler Town & Country van, damaging the left front of the vehicle. In a report, police said a 1998 Peterbilt truck and a 2002 Chevrolet Suburban headed eastbound on Victory Drive also were involved in the crash. According to Hurley, Willard left home nine days ago with some clothes, cash and drove away in his 1998 Ford F150 truck on Sunday, July 19th. No one has heard from him since. Willard has no history of mental illness, according to Billy, and his mother has filed a missing persons report with local authorities in Leesburg, Virginia, where they live, on Monday. Lieutenant Jeff Dube of the Leesburg (Va. ) Police Department confirmed a missing persons report had been filed Monday for Willard Hurley. “Last Sunday, nine days ago, my dad took some clothes, he took some cash, he got in his truck and drove away and no one has heard from him since. The Leesburg Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating the whereabouts of Willard (Bill) Hurley. A missing person report was filed yesterday, July 27, 2015 by Mr. Hurley’s wife stating that Hurley left their residence voluntarily on July 19, 2015 and has not been seen or heard from since. Hurley left the residence in his 1998 Ford F150 truck, green in color with Virginia registration YWH-5898. After leaving his residence in Leesburg, Mr. Hurley utilized a credit card for gas in.
