GAINESVILLE, Va. — In an emotional press conference on Tuesday before the start of the Quicken Loans National tournament, PGA Tour player Billy Hurley III announced that his father, Willard Hurley Jr. , is missing and asked the public for help... According to Hurley, Willard left home nine days ago with some clothes, cash and drove away in his 1998 Ford F150 truck on Sunday, July 19th. No one has heard from him since. Willard has no history of mental illness, according to Billy, and his mother has filed a missing persons report with local authorities in Leesburg, Virginia, where they live, on Monday. Lieutenant Jeff Dube of the Leesburg (Va. ) Police Department confirmed a missing persons report had been filed Monday for Willard Hurley. “Last Sunday, nine days ago, my dad took some clothes, he took some cash, he got in his truck and drove away and no one has heard from him since. The Leesburg Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating the whereabouts of Willard (Bill) Hurley. A missing person report was filed yesterday, July 27, 2015 by Mr. Hurley’s wife stating that Hurley left their residence voluntarily on July 19, 2015 and has not been seen or heard from since. Hurley left the residence in his 1998 Ford F150 truck, green in color with Virginia registration YWH-5898. After leaving his residence in Leesburg, Mr. Hurley utilized a credit card for gas in.
