Update : The pedestrian killed in Monday's fatal accident on I-20 was Jerry Wayne Harris, 57, of the 4200 block on Ester Street. Original Story : A pedestrian was killed by a motorist on Interstate 20 Monday evening. Shreveport police were called at 6:20 p. m. Monday I-20 near Jewella Avenue after a black male was killed in the eastbound lane while trying to cross the interstate, said SPD spokesperson Marcus Hines. Goleman was taken to University Health Shreveport to determine if impairment was a factor in the accident, but no evidence was found suggesting such and he was cleared and released.
