  First remove these 2 bolts. There are no more bolts to remove, this is it.

  Once the 2 bolts are removed the unit will slightly rotate away from the body but is not loose yet.

Almost like eyes that are starring and trying to focus, Nissan LEAF headlights are positioned in such a way as to immediately become noticeable upon first encounter. It is strange how people start off a little unsure about the lights and the front of the car since it really isn’t something that other cars are noted for. As a pure electric car that is a quiet car, sounds you normally don’t hear in a gas car are heard in the electric cars. As a result, during testing of this car, the Nissan Engineers noticed that the side mirrors ended up causing a whistling noise which they found annoying while test driving. I eventually reconnected the noise maker because as a result of my disconnecting it I lost the back up noise for reverse operation. Since I have kids, I felt this was more important to keep at this point so I suffer the noise maker even thought I initially didn’t like it. Senators propose bill to tighten vehicle security, privacy standards - Computerworld

senators today filed a bill that would require the federal government to establish standards to ensure automakers secure a driver against vehicle cyber attacks. The Security and Privacy in Your Car (SPY Car) Act , filed by Sens. ), also establishes a rating system — or "cyber dashboard"— that informs consumers about how well the vehicle protects drivers' security and privacy beyond the proposed federal minimum standards. "We need clear rules of the road that protect cars from hackers and American families from data trackers. This legislation will set minimum standards and transparency rules to protect the data, security and privacy of drivers in the modern age of increasingly connected vehicles. The bill follows a report released by Markey last year -- The Tracking & Hacking: Security & Privacy Gaps Put American Drivers at Risk -- that called out major gaps in the auto industry's efforts to secure cars from hackers who can take advantage... Buyers looking for a mid-size pickup in the last few years had only the Toyota Tacoma and Nissan Frontier to choose from as newer models. The Canyon provides the classic, rugged GM pickup looks and some of the technology benefits seen in the full-sized GMC Sierra and Chevy Silverado that were recently updated and are award-winning. It comes in extended cab and crew cab models, with 5- and 6-foot beds, and in three trims: the base SL starts at $20,995, while the fully-featured SLT Crew Cab 4 x 4 stickers near $40,000.
