Yes, papa jim, it was explained in earlier articles that reduced sales (2015 vs 2014) for the F150 was mostly due to one plant at a time being shut down for the changeover. Demand is high but supply is reduced due to closed plants. Im shocked the GM HDs sit around so long especially being the most recently refreshed. Hope this pays off for Ford. It's numbers like these that take the wind out the Ford haters' sails. Titan doesn't show on the slow list because they aren't cranking them out to excess. They manufacture to suit demand, not just crank out vehicles to get stuck with thousands of unsold vehicles clogging dealership lots. If you are only selling 1000 a month, why manufacture 5000. If needed production can be ramped up to meet demand. It make more sense financially to have to make more to meet demand than eat unsold models sitting on dealership lots and have to clearance price them at the end of the year. Ram doesn't show because it would seem they found a good balance of supply and demand. A good inventory, but selling fast enough to not sit on dealership lots. Source: news.pickuptrucks.com
