A year and two friggin’ months after the 2015 Ford F-150 light-duty pickup truck debuted at the 2014 North American International Auto Show, Jalopnik acquired the first photograph of the heavily-anticipated 2017 Ford F-250 Super Duty workhorse. With the thirteenth generation of the F-Series, the Blue Oval pushed the envelope of full-size pickup trucks by swapping pig iron for military-grade aluminum alloys. In the case of its heavy-duty counterpart that abides to the Built Ford Tough promise, we expect the 2017 Ford F-250 to be less elephantine than the 5,941 lbs (2,694 kg) of the 2015 Ford F-250 SRW Regular Cab. All anybody knows about the 2017 model year is nada, except for how the 2017 Ford F-250, F-350 and F-450 will look like when they’ll hit Stateside dealerships.
