Two men followed an Oak Creek resident to his home, assaulted and robbed him in his backyard and stole his vehicle at 11:35 p. m. July 31. According to the police report, the victim was driving to his home in the 7400 block of South Logan Avenue... He told police he was aware the truck was following him, so he quickly pulled into his detached garage and closed the main garage door. As the victim was walking to his back door, two men armed with handguns came around the corner and confronted him, according to police. He took the keys to the victim's Honda Civic out of his pants pocket and took his lunchbox. One suspect fled in the maroon truck and the other fled in the stolen Honda. The suspects are described as two 6-feet-tall, thin black males between the ages of 18 and 22. Both suspects were carrying handguns and were dressed in black clothing. Police later learned the maroon truck, a 2005 Toyota Tundra, was listed as stolen through the Milwaukee Police Department with an "armed and dangerous" caution indicator. Source: www.oakcreeknow.com

Officers observed the vehicle Dubon-Orellano cross the center line on N. Van Buren St. and nearly strike an oncoming vehicle. During the stop, officers learned Dubon-Orellano had never received a license and his blood alcohol content was. According to police, Dubon-Orellano complained of shortness of breath and was transported to Memorial Hospital. After he was released from the hospital, Dubon-Orellano was booked into the Dubois County Security Center. Jasper — Four people were arrested after Jasper Police Department received a tip from Indiana State Police that a man wanted on a warrant for failing to appear was at a Jasper residence Saturday. When officers arrived at the Mill Street address to arrest Caleb A. Dubon Jr. , 19, of Mill St. , they noticed Dubon attempting to leave the residence in a black passenger car. They stopped the car at 17th and Newton streets at about 6:42 p. m. and Dubon was arrested for the warrant.
