Wanting to make sure no one else is victimized, a Jonesboro woman told sheriff's deputies a traveling paving company duped her dad out of $2,000. On Wednesday a man stopped at a home on Craighead County Road 762 and asked the woman's 68-year-old... When the elderly man agreed, the woman said the suspect then began talking about how much the job would cost, according to a sheriff's office incident report. When she came home and “saw the mess in the driveway,” the woman called the suspect and demanded a refund. The suspect was described as a balding, tanned white male in his late 30s to early 40s. He was driving a white Ford F250 pickup truck with “Platinum Paving” decal stickers on the glass. Car burglary ring busted, 1 suspect still on the run - WMC Action News 5

William Faulkner, 20, and Khalil Curtis, 21 are in custody after police said they were found in two stolen vehicles. The third suspect, 21-year-old Donavin Corona, who detectives say ran into the woods after the chase, is still on the run. This all happened Wednesday when deputies say they chased a Camaro and a Ford F-250 after both vehicles refused to pull over for a traffic stop. According to the affidavit, investigators watched Corona switch out bogus tags from the truck to the convertible before the chase. The chase was eventually called off and investigators arrested Faulkner and Curtis in the stolen Ford truck near Quince and Perkins roads. Corona was spotted in the Camaro a short time later, but ran into the woods after abandoning the car near Highway 385 and Ridgeway Road.
