Report: 2016 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe Sacrifices Space for Sport - Automobile
We could tell from earlier spy shots that the 2016 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe was adopting sportier styling compared to the elegant sedan version, but we’re just now learning how significant those changes are. From what we can see, the baby-S-Class looks should make the C-Class coupe a serious head-turner. Matching this sportier shape are some concrete mechanical changes that will further differentiate the 2016 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe from its luxury- and comfort-oriented sedan sibling. The same range of turbocharged engines seen in the C-Class sedan should be available on the 2016 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe. We have heard that Mercedes may be phasing out the C400 from the C-Class lineup though, so it’s possible the sport-focused C-Class Coupe may stick to only the performance-oriented C450 AMG.
