Tulare teen, Porterville woman killed in county crashes - Visalia Times-Delta
A woman was killed in a collision at Road 80 and Avenue 368 just after 7p. m. on Monday, November 17, 2014. CHP Sgt. Chuck Mosely said witnesses said a tractor-trailer, pictured, loaded with oranges and southbound on Road 80 failed to stop for a red light and struck the woman's Toyota Forerunner as she was traveling eastbound on Avenue 368 through the intersection. Road 80 was closed around the intersection for several hours while crews cleared debris. A Tulare teenage girl and a Porterville woman died in separate traffic collisions hours apart earlier this week, making three county residents who have died in crashes over the past five days. Cerina Marie Alvarez, 18, of Tulare, died when the sport utility vehicle she was a passenger in overturned Sunday morning on Avenue 208 west of Road 180, about 13 miles east of Tulare. On Monday night, Olivia Thompson, 32, of Porterville, died when her vehicle collided with a big rig tractor trailer at Road 80 and Avenue 368, about 10 miles north of Visalia. Tucker Barnett, 19, of Exeter, died from injuries he suffered in a crash Friday in Fresno County, near Riverdale. Sunday morning crash. According to the CHP, Madison Pacheco, 19, of Visalia, was driving a 2003 Chevrolet Blazer westbound on Avenue 208, west of Road 180, near Plainview.
