Sales of Focus models have been ebbing away throughout 2015 in the face of huge competition in the small car segment, so Ford Australia hopes updates and range simplification can improve Focus' current market share of 3. 7% for 2015. Standard... 5-litre EcoBoost develops 132kW and 240Nm - 7kW more power and 38Nm more torque than the 2. 0-litre Duratec engine it replaces - while giving fuel economy figures between 5. 8l/100km and 6. 4l/100km, depending on the model. Focus Trend Hatch and Sport Hatch receive six-speed manuals as standard with optional six-speed autos. A range of new driver assistance features are offered in Titanium cars, including Blind Spot Information System, Rear Cross Traffic Alert and an enhanced Active City Stop collision avoidance system.
