Couple critically injured in hit-and-run motorcycle crash - New Baltimore Voice Newspapers

A man and woman were critically injured in a late-night hit-and-run accident Saturday in Chesterfield Township, according to police. A 44-year-old Warren man and his 41-year-old female passenger from Fraser riding a motorcycle were struck by a 2000 Ford Ranger pickup truck about 10:25 p. m. at the intersection of 26 Mile Road and Gratiot Avenue, Detective Sgt. Police said the truck driver kept going, dragging the motorcycle under the front of his truck for about 600 yards down 26 Mile Road. Witnesses reported seeing the truck driver stop in the middle of 26 Mile Road and attempt to dislodge the motorcycle from under the truck.
