Morgan reveals Cosworth-powered AR Plus 4 - Motoring
Called the AR Plus 4, the new Morgan has been developed and produced by the company’s racing division, AR Motorsport. Performance hasn’t been confirmed, but weighing in at less than 900kg, the AR Plus 4 is expected to reach 100km/h from standstill in less than six seconds. To help cope with the extra power the Plus 4 gets new suspension all around, new brakes, wider 16-inch alloys and lightweight aluminium floor and body panels. Inside the Morgan AR Plus 4 the manufacturer has added more insulation to reduce road and wind noise, conflicting a little with all that weight-saving. The AR Plus 4 also features a new re-designed dash and lots of leather and aluminium features. In the UK the new AR Plus 4 is priced from £54,995 ($110,000).
