Police respond to accidents, make arrests - Journal Advocate
July 20 At 4:31 p. m. Christopher Nicholas Martin, 28, of Sterling, was arrested at 103 Factory St. , on a warrant out of Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office for failure to appear, with no bond, and a warrant out of Sterling Police Department for... He was transported to the Logan County Jail, where he was held on no bond. At 10:10 p. m. Christa Michelle Schrimpscher, 27, of Sterling, was issued a municipal summons, at 1125 N. Seventh St. , for attempting/conspiring/inducing another to commit an unlawful act. At 11:41 a. m. a 1995 Ford F-250, driven by Russell Adels, 36, of Sterling, was traveling west in the 1100 block of W. Main St. approximately 50 feet west of S. 10th Ave. A 1998 Toyota Corolla, driven by Linda Gandee, 64, of Sterling, was directly in front of the Ford. The Ford impacted the Toyota's rear with its front. The Ford sustained slight damage. Aryssa Brynn New, 31, of Sterling, was transported to the Logan County Jail, where she was held on a failure to appear warrant out of SPD on an original charge of trespassing. a 2004 Ford F250, driven by John Mendez, 45, of Sterling, was backing southbound from a residence on Jones Lane.
