He made his Formula One debut in 2013 with the Russian team Marussia after stints as a test driver with Ferrari and Force India. His grandfather Mauro, was a renowned F3 driver, a three-time world champion in GT cars, notably with Alpine-Renault, and one of the great stars of motorsport during the 1960`s.
