Burnet man killed in multi-vehicle wreck - Victoria Advocate
Lorenzo Castillo, 52, from Burnet, was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from his vehicle about 11:30 p. m. , 2 miles southwest of Victoria, said Trooper Ruben San Miguel. Castillo was driving his 1997 Ford F-150 northbound in the southbound lane. The driver of a truck pulling a semi trailer saw Castillo coming and attempted to swerve out of the way. Castillo's vehicle hit the trailer but continued moving north, San Miguel said. Then Castillo's truck collided with a 2007 Dodge Charger with two passengers. The driver, Maria Lara, 42, from Brownsville, and her son were taken to Citizens Medical Center, where they were treated and released. Source: www.victoriaadvocate.com
