Corning woman one of two killed in crash - Appeal-Democrat
Rebeca Carter of Corning was driving a 2002 BMW 530i southbound in the northbound lanes of the freeway when she struck a 2000 Ford Expedition head-on, the CHP reported. The driver of the SUV, Trinidad Bersabe, 74, of Milpitas, was killed in the crash, and her passengers, Rex Galasinao, 45, Annalyn Galasinao, 44, and two minor children, 10 and 7, all of Milpitas, suffered major to moderate injuries, CHP said. Carter, the sole occupant of the BMW, and Bersabe were pronounced dead at the scene. The four passengers of Expedition were transported to St. Elizabeth Community Hospital in Red Bluff, and Mercy Medical Center in Redding, for treatment. Source: www.appeal-democrat.com
