Golling auto of Chelsea moves to new location - Heritage Newspapers
The car dealerships’ locations in Chelsea have been going through what seems like a game of musical chairs over the last two years, changing locations and ownership. Most recently, the former Village Motors Sales Chrysler Dodge Jeep and Ram in Chelsea has moved and is now open under new management with a new name, Golling Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep-Ram of Chelsea, at 1500 S. Main St. The purchase of Village Motors,... “We’ve also expanded the new car inventory from 60 to 120 and from 20 to 75 for the used inventory,” Nichols said. The Golling Family Auto Group already owns several dealerships throughout southeast Michigan, and Nichols said the business “saw an opportunity” in Chelsea when Village Motors went up for sale. The 1185 S. Main St. location will become a used car superstore and body shop, Nichols said, while new cars will be sold at the 1500 S. Main St. location. Source: www.heritage.com
