He later told police he had delivered the cocaine to a house in Mission and never used the Taurus, where Mendez had said the drugs were discovered. Gonzalez told police the cocaine he’d delivered was in different packages and had been seized from a Mission home several days earlier, after officers received a tip from an informant, the complaint states. Reynol Chapa-Garcia, 36, told agents that Gonzalez was being truthful and admitted to working with Mendez, a criminal complaint states. He confessed that Mendez showed up to his residence and took all the cocaine, saying he had arranged to dilute the cocaine so the narcotic could be stolen and re-distributed for a profit, the complaint states. The car dealerships’ locations in Chelsea have been going through what seems like a game of musical chairs over the last two years, changing locations and ownership. Most recently, the former Village Motors Sales Chrysler Dodge Jeep and Ram in Chelsea has moved and is now open under new management with a new name, Golling Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep-Ram of Chelsea, at 1500 S. Main St. The purchase of Village Motors,... “We’ve also expanded the new car inventory from 60 to 120 and from 20 to 75 for the used inventory,” Nichols said. The Golling Family Auto Group already owns several dealerships throughout southeast Michigan, and Nichols said the business “saw an opportunity” in Chelsea when Village Motors went up for sale.
