Crime reports for September 2015 Newark Connection - Contra Costa Times

THURSDAY, JULY 30. 2:23 a. m. : Officer Britain Jackman investigated a hit-and-run collision involving two parked vehicles on Ruschin Drive. While at the scene, Jackman located a divot in the road which led around the block to a driveway on the 5400 block of McDonald Avenue. The driver of the vehicle was identified as a 23-year-old Newark man. Jackman will send the investigation to the Alameda County District Attorney's Office for a possible warrant for hit-and-run. : Detective Tony Heckman arrested transient Kevin Anthony Hoffmaster, 41, for four warrants in the Newark Square Shopping Center, 5600 Thornton Ave. : Officer Michael Taylor arrested Ricardo Alonzo Molina, 30, of Newark, on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance after officers responded to a report of a man acting strangely in a residence on the 35600 block of Haley...
