Isuzu adds Fury edition to UK D-Max range - AM-online

Isuzu has added a new edition to the D-Max pick-up truck line-up in the UK. The new Fury has a number of unique styling enhancements and technology upgrades. It comes with a unique 'magma red' metallic paint finish, 17-inch five-spoke grey alloy wheels shod with 255/65 R17 Pirelli Scorpion tyres. The exterior upgrades continue with a dark grey metallic finish to the grille – complete with a fiery red Isuzu logo at its centre – and black door and tailgate handles, and black rear bumper, as well as gun metal grey side steps. Inside, the Fury has red stitching to key contact points such as the steering wheel and gear knob and bespoke carpet mats. Customers will also have the option to upgrade the interior upholstery to black and red Fury leather. Towing capacity is up to 3. 5 tonnes (braked trailer) while payload is 1,072kg for manual and 1,067kg for automatic. However, Perry County Sheriff Jimmy Dale Smith says Alfred Baria, 61, claims he can make his maroon Isuzu pickup backfire on command. Smith says officials are still questioning Baria about those claims and won't say whether authorities believe Baria was firing a gun or just backfiring. A Perry County man charged in connection with possible shots fired outside Camp Shelby will make his first appearance Friday morning at Perry County Justice Court. Officials said Alfred Baria Sr. , 61, would make his first appearance around 9 or 9:30 a. m. Perry County Sheriff Jimmy Dale Smith said troopers from Mississippi Highway Patrol’s District J, with assistance from Perry County Sheriff ’s Department,... Baria’s maroon Isuzu pickup matched the one described in the reports of shots fired in the vicinity of soldiers training at Camp Shelby on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings. Baria was charged with four misdemeanor counts of disturbing the peace and two felony charges for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Baria’s son said concerns that his father shot at the soldiers are baseless, saying his father’s truck frequently backfires. Alfred Baria Sr. said his truck often backfires, and he could even make the truck backfire when he wished. About 11:35 a. m. Tuesday, two soldiers training on Peret Tower Road, which is not on the premises of Camp Shelby, reported that they thought shots had been fired in their direction.
