Here's what I remember from just one decade, the aughts:. I was still apologizing for having hired a soon-to-be convicted murderer to photograph an Infiniti J30. I drove a Benz ML500 up the Alaska Highway alone, spending one night sleeping in the back seat, near where I'd photographed two wolves. I spent a day listening to car stereos with J. Geils. and an afternoon driving Tim Allen's Cadillac DeVille DTSi. I spent two days on a nuclear ballistic-missile submarine and learned to launch trash. I performed one lap of Newfoundland in a Toyota 4Runner , one lap of Iceland in a Land Cruiser , and one lap of New Zealand in a 1959 two-stroke Saab. In Kosovo I rode on daily gun patrols in an up-armored Humvee, then was trapped there incommunicado for 10 days because of 9/11, missing 2002's 10Best competition completely. Not one single person noticed. Using an Oshkosh Striker 3000 fire truck, I filled a burning airplane full of foam. I urged my dad to enter his '62 Eldorado Biarritz in the Cadillac-LaSalle Club's biggest-ever show, where he suffered a nervous breakdown. Aggravated menacing, Detroit Road: On July 28, a 28-year-old Elyria woman said her boyfriend — the 32-year-old Samuel Charkosky of Westlake — rammed his car into hers at a Detroit Road store, trying to prevent her from leaving. Charkosky kept calling her while she was at the police station and police found he'd called her a total of 85 times in eight hours. Police found a bat in his car when they arrested him at his home, and he continually said he couldn't "believe this is happening" as police were taking him into custody. Fraud, Crocker Road: On July 23, a Westlake business reported that three counterfeit checks were deposited from its account in three different out of state banks. The checks totaled nearly $6,700. Fraud, Walter Road: On July 24, a Walter Road man said someone used his debit card to make three transactions through Western Union totaling $1,305 the previous day. Shoplifting, Detroit Road: At 11:26 a. m. July 25, the staff of a Westlake store stopped a 17-year-old Bay Village girl who took $51 worth of merchandise and tried to leave without paying. Fraud, Stonehedge Drive: On July 25, a Westlake man said someone in California took out a $600 loan using his information. Source: www.cleveland.com

2014 Infiniti Q50 3.7 AWD Premium - Summer Update - Automobile

My first experience of the Infiniti way of doing things came in a QX56 , the yacht of choice for the discerning NFL linebacker. This feeling of a warm knife slowly slicing through butter I have come to understand as Infiniti. The 2014 Infiniti Q50 has this feeling of luxury in motion, as does my buddy's 20-year-old Infiniti J30, a hand-me-down from his commuting father. (It seems that an Infiniti will last, given the proper care. We'll put this down as a fielding error on Infiniti’s part. Maybe you’ve noticed much argumentum ad populum about the shortcomings of the 2014 Infiniti Q50’s steering action. To me it feels like the power-steering hamsters aren't running fast enough in their wheel, and the car doesn’t quite make the turn that I had visualized. Comfortable drivers are comfortable without this avoidance technology, although I’ll admit that it still may save me and others yet.
