He knew riding bulls wasn’t in the cards either. But Kissack isn’t afraid to get in the same rodeo arena with those rank horses or bulls. “The very first bull I ever stepped in front of hooked me and threw me in the air,” Kissack said. But I got up and said ‘You know what. Fun or not, the Gillette native knows what the risks are when he puts himself in the fire. “I know every time I strap on a pair of cleats, if I step in the arena, I may not walk out,” he said. Kissack, who was a team roper on the high school circuit, said he always wanted to be a cowboy. The dream didn’t start through family tradition, though. In his family, just he and his brother, Justin, wanted to get into rodeo. When he was 8 years old, Kissack started hanging out and working on the Burch family ranches east of Gillette as part of his dream of becoming a cowboy. The experience eventually paid off as he took over the ranch he lives on now for the Burches at age 19. In that way, he’s become part of a true rodeo family. “When I graduated high school, I knew I wasn’t college material,” Kissack said. And the Burch family gave him the shot he longed for. “Every day that I’m working, it’s like I’m on vacation,” he said. Life on the ranch suits Kissack, but he wants to do more. Ford 7.3L Power Stroke Oil Pan Repair - Problem Solved - Four Wheeler Magazine

Do you have a 7. 3L Power Stroke-powered truck with a rusty, leaking oil pan. The oil pan on our northern Illinois-based ’02 Ford F-250 4x4 had this problem. It had actually been leaking for the past two years, which means we only got 11 years out of it before rot poked holes in it. We wanted to replace the pan instead of using a kit or material to “repair” it. We were set to purchase a new pan from... It was then we stumbled on the cool new oil pan from Moroso. The Moroso 7. 3L oil pan (PN 27336) fits ’94-’03 Power Stroke turbodiesel engines, and it’s made from quality 16-gauge steel, which is thicker than the factory pan. The pan has a triple coat finishing process of a zinc phosphate that creates a durable finish foundation and also neutralizes any corrosion caused by the welding process during manufacturing. Moroso says that this process has been fine-tuned from the company’s years of oil pan building experience and from this oil pan being subjected to numerous salt spray testing. Compare these finishes to the factory pan only getting a black painted surface on top of its thinner construction, and it becomes clear that the Moroso unit is a vastly superior pan. internal OE-style anti-slosh baffle to keep oil contained in the oil pick up area.   I change the oil at 5000 miles and just about can't get it to use a quart of oil in between. Most will tell you if you want a Ford diesel, the 7.3 is THE DIESEL to get, and I agree. Strong, dependable, and even with 4.10 gears, it gets 18 mpg consistently.
