A Toppenish man was injured Friday afternoon when his car hit another vehicle at the intersection of Highway 395 and 36th Avenue in Kennewick, according to the Washington State Patrol. He was northbound on 395 in a 2007 Chevrolet Malibu shortly before 5 p. m. when he hit a 2003 Ford Explorer stopped at the traffic signal at 36th Avenue, the state patrol said. A Tuscaloosa man was killed in a crash in Marengo County on Thursday, according to state troopers. Andrew Deedward Bryant, 21, died when the 2007 Chevrolet Malibu that he was riding in crashed with a 2015 Peterbuilt tractor trailer, troopers report. It happened around 4 a. m. on U. S. 80 at the 49. 6 mile marker, about one mile south of Faunsdale. Troopers said Bryant was not wearing a seat belt and was pronounced dead at the scene.
