Previously, he was a reporter and news anchor for Associated Press Broadcast Services, where he covered business and consumer news as well as space shots and other major spot news events. General Motors is recalling 63,665 model year 2013-2016 Cadillac ATS vehicles manufactured April 25, 2012, to June 25, 2015. The vehicles' roof panel could close automatically when the non-recessed switches are pressed and the roof panel is open. These vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 118, "Power-Operated Window, Partition, and Roof Panel Systems. Because the switch is not recessed, the roof panel switch may inadvertently be pressed resulting in unintended auto-closure of the roof panel, increasing the risk of personal injury. GM will notify owners and dealers will replace the roof console accessory switch trim plate, free of charge. The recall began on August 19, 2015, and supersedes one issued in February 2015. LAS VEGAS (AP) — Police say they've found the car belonging to a 72-year-old man who was found shot and killed inside his home near the Sam's Town casino-hotel in eastern Las Vegas. Las Vegas police had been looking for Eugene Elliott's 2013 silver Cadillac ATS after discovering the man's body Aug. Police say they found the abandoned car a few days later without its wheels about two miles south of the casino near South Nellis Boulevard and East Hacienda Avenue. 2013-2016 Cadillac ATS Sedan Recalled Again For Sunroof Problem: Over 82000 ... - The Car Connection

Cadillac's parent company, General Motors, says that 82,620 Cadillac ATS models are affected by the recall. GM has also issued a stop-sale on ATS sedans until they've been repaired. The problem with the ATS is that the switch that operates the sunroof is too sensitive: according to reports, a very slight touch can cause the panel to close or open. That could result in a distraction for ATS drivers (especially when it's raining or snowing). The recall is limited to sedan versions of the ATS. GM says that it knows of no accidents or injuries related to the sunroof problem.
