Quick Spin: 2015 Hyundai Elantra Sport [Review] - LeftLane News
How is it holding up. What is it. The Elantra Sport is exactly what it sounds like--the performance model of the Elantra lineup. While it's not going to be cross-shopped with the true sport compacts of the segment, it does boast the biggest engine and most aggressive suspension tune of the Elantra family. Appropriately, the Sport trim is available with a manual transmission, but our tester came with the six-speed automatic. Elsewhere, the Elantra Sport is fairly conventional. Aside from darker, sporty 17" wheels and projector headlamps (the latter shared with the Limited), there's little else differentiating the Sport from the basic SE trim aside from the availability of some option packages. In fact, the Sport goes just about toe-to-toe with the Limited model in standard feature content, trading some luxury appointments (heated rear seats, for example) for the performance boost. Indeed, there are only really three choices for buyers interested in the Elantra sport: color, transmission and check yes/no for the tech package. The Tech package for Sport is new for 2015 and up, now including navigation, externally-amplified premium audio,. Source: www.leftlanenews.com
