It's thanks to the use of aluminum in the body that the new model has a weight savings of more than 500 pounds, which will help increase performance output over the outgoing model. Compared to the current Raptor, the new model features a more rugged appearance, from the new aggressive front fascia with an updated grille and light design to the sculpted, protruding wheel arches. In the rear, Ford utilizes a new rear window design, which gives the truck a more modern feel with its one-pane design. Further strengthening the off-road capabilities of the 2017 Ford Raptor, the automaker has made the body six inches wider, added 17-inch wheels featuring BF Goodrich All-Terrain KO2 tires, and LED lighting and camera technology for improved...
