MARTIN COUNTY — Two Palm Beach County motorcyclists died Sunday afternoon after their motorcycle hit a truck on Southeast Dixie Highway at Southeast Winged Foot Drive, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. FHP said Scot Brian Fertig, 58, of West Palm Beach, was southbound at 2:20 p. m. on Southeast Dixie Highway when he failed to maintain control of his motorcycle and crossed into northbound traffic, hitting the front of a Toyota Tundra truck driven... "In the involved vehicles, due to the possible misinstallation of a garnish on the center pillars, the garnish could interfere with the side curtain airbags in the event of a deployment, which may not allow the airbag to achieve its intended...
