The 2013 Dodge Dart SXT is close to being an excellent compact car. We enjoyed many elements of the car during its twelve-month stay with us, but we just couldn’t get past the Dart’s hesitant and clunky, dual-dry-clutch six-speed automatic gearbox. Dodge isn’t alone in dealing with a dual-clutch controversy. Ford faced similar issues with the dual-dry-clutch unit in the Focus, as buyers found the shifts unpredictable. Good dual-clutch automatics like those from Volkswagen and Porsche are virtually indistinguishable from conventional automatics from behind the wheel, but less expensive and more efficient dual-dry-clutch setups tend to be far less pleasant. DeMatio was the first to stretch the Dart’s legs, taking it on a 300-mile round-trip to northern Michigan shortly after it arrived in December 2012. That was soon followed by winter jaunts around the Midwest before executive editor Todd Lassa... SEMA 2012: Comedian Jeff Dunham Tricks Out 2012 Dodge Challenger SRT8 - Automobile Magazine

With the help of Mopar and SRT, Dunham customized the Challenger to look and drive like a modern day hotrod. Under the hood is a new Mopar 426 crate engine tuned to make 515 hp and 490 lb-ft of torque is paired to a six-speed manual transmission that sends power to the rear wheels. " On the outside, the team added a new rear diffuser, dive-planes, new front splitter, new lower-rear spoilers, new deck-lid spoiler, and custom aluminum side sills. Front bumpers are also new and keep the slightly larger grille in place. Big 22-inch matte black wheels look even larger, thanks in part to the vehicle's 1-inch drop. Police say $110 in cash and identification and bank cards were in the wallet. Corman, 22, of Carlisle was charged with simple assault and harassment in the first block of West Louther Street at 10:20 p. m. March 18. According to police, Corman assaulted a person who suffered bruises, abrasions and a concussion. • Kersten A. Thompson, 32, of Carlisle was charged with animals running at large in the 500 block of South Pitt Street at 9 p. m. Mach 14. According to police, the dog owned by Thompson escaped the property and jumped on a 6-year-old girl. • Felicia M.
