Still, with a seven-speed dual-clutch transaxle and instant shifting, it’ll keep up with most cars in its class without too much difficulty. The supercar has been outfitted and rigorously tested so that it conforms perfectly to speed and driver response, able to adjust its own height and angle depending upon slope, speed, torque and many other metrics. But for its outlandish $400k price tag, one has to wonder which supercar makes more sense. By comparison, the faster Ferrari F12 Bernlinetta Coupe will only run you $300k. And the all-new McLaren 675LT delivers 666-horsepower but only costs $345k. All-in-all, Ford’s new GT looks impressive, that’s for sure.
