Sometimes I am amused at the cars that I drive and the order I get them in. Last week I drove a Cadillac Escalade that priced out at $89,000. This week I am driving a Lexus LS 460 that prices out at $86,000. Both vehicles got about 19 mpg. Not that the vehicles aren't worth the money, they're completely tricked out with the best leather and the most infotainment and technology that money can buy at that price. I have a Lexus LS400 sitting in my garage. The LS460 is the natural extension of evolution of the 1993 LS that costs $55,000 new in 1993. It was one of the first cars I remember that had heated seats. Maybe it was because my friend Sam has an older Toyota 4Runner and Miriam has a Lexus SUV. We all went to Bodega Bay, CA for the long weekend and took our bikes with us. . Sam and Miriam each drove their own SUVs and had bike rack on the back. My husband, Stretch, put his bike in the Escalade and it was so big that one barely noticed it was there. The only thing I didn't like was on the nav system when I would put my finger close to the system a bunch of circles would come up and I didn't know how to get out of it. Stretch put it back to normal and I'm sure if I had the SUV long enough I... I would use the Lexus as my everday car still, but I really loved having that Escalade too. Luke Bryan opened up for the first time about his decision to raise his nephew following the unexpected death of his brother-in-law Ben Lee Cheshire in November. Cheshire was married to Bryan's sister Kelly, who died in 2007 of unknown causes, and the couple shared three children. The country singer and his wife Caroline are now raising their 13-year-old nephew Til along with their sons Bo, 6, and Tate, 4 in Nashville. Til's older sisters visit their brother frequently, Bryan said. "We feel like if we just stay positive through this, maybe we'll be a positive inspiration for people that had these things happen to 'em," Bryan told ABC News. Bryan's older brother Chris died in a car accident at 26 in 1996. "I have chalked it up to this," Bryan told ABC in 2013 after opening up about his older siblings' deaths. God said Chris Byran has 26 years, Kelly Cheshire has 39 years and ultimately, I can't question that. Besides receiving support from Til's two older sisters, Bryan said his country music family has rallied around him.
