Good day, ladies and gentlemen and welcome to Ford Monthly Sales Call. My name is Jasmine and I will be your operator for today. And I would now like to turn the conference over to your host for today, Mr. Erich Merkle. Welcome to the Ford’s August 2015 sales call and good morning everyone. Today, we’re joined by Mark LaNeve, Ford’s Vice President, U. S. Marketing Sales and Service. and Yong Yang, Ford’s Senior U. S. Economist. Based on early incoming data, we estimate that total industry sales including medium and heavy trucks are coming in around 1. 57 million to 1. 58 million vehicles for August. This translates into a total industry SAAR in the high 17 million vehicle range. This places the industry slightly behind August 2014. we estimate approximately 1% to 3% behind. It’s important to note though that Labor Day weekend last year was reported in August, while this year it was counted in -- it will be counted in September sales results. Bustang off and running in first six weeks - The Coloradoan

Are you one of the thousands of passengers who have ridden it. Bustang, the Colorado Department of Transportation bus system that offers weekday rides along the Interstate 25 and Interstate 70 corridors, averaged 113 passengers a day in July and... Overall, the North Route -- which offers six rides to and from Fort Collins transit centers and Denver Union Station on Monday through Friday -- had 3,820 total passengers, Ford said. That amount is made up of 740 unique riders -- meaning the amount of individuals who have ridden the bus, some of who may have ridden several times and some may have ridden once. CDOT's projections for the North Route were 111 riders a day to start, Ford said, so ridership between Fort Collins and Denver is indeed higher than expected. Bustang also runs a South Route, between Denver and Colorado Springs, and a West Route, between Denver and Glenwood Springs. The South Route averaged 100 riders a day in July and 135 in August, and the West Route has averaged between 24 and 32 riders a day. FLEX is a Transfort bus service that runs between Fort Collins, Loveland, Berthoud and Longmont, where passengers can catch transfers to Denver and Boulder through a partnership with the Regional Transportation District. Thats why it should come as no surprise that some of the coolest rigs out there are owned by people who produce, distribute or manufacture off-road products, because deep down, theyre enthusiasts just like the rest of us. We came across a cool... The first step of the project would be replacing the Raptor bumper with a new one from Baja Coyote, which is constructed of 1 3/4-inch steeling tubing with a 2-inch main tube. Since the truck is already fitted with 37-inch Toyo A/T II tires and an Icon Ford Raptor Stage 3 Suspension System lift, the new bumper will complement the type of off-roading for which the truck is built. Baja Coyote says its bumper is the first cut-frame front bumper available for the Raptor, meaning it will require some cajones to commit to the new bumper since it requires some frame trimming. Once completed, however, the Baja Coyote front bumpers custom mounts will fit over the original stock bumper location and utilize preexisting stock holes. The flat-top surface of the top of the Baja Coyote bumper is ideal for mounting auxiliary lighting, and it can be drilled to accommodate 10 LED surface. Source: www.off-road.com
