2-car crash in McCracken Co. sends 1 to hospital - KFVS

On Thursday, at approximately 2:12 p. m. , McCracken County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the intersection of US HWY 68 and Tyree Road, for a two vehicle injury accident. Officials say Marvin Blaine, 56, of Paducah, was traveling west bound on US HWY 68, in a 1999 Ford F250, hauling a utility trailer. Blaine had signaled and began to slow, to make a turn onto Tyree Road. Joshua McClure, 29, also of Paducah, was traveling behind Blaine, in his 1994 Ford Escort. McClure reportedly took his eyes off the road for a moment and when he looked back up, he noticed Blaine had slowed. McClure attempted to swerve right, to avoid colliding with Blaine, but Blaine had already began making the turn. McClure’s vehicle struck Blaine’s vehicle in the right rear bumper, between the truck and trailer. Source: www.kfvs12.com
