The motorcycle driver, Rhonda Denato, 49, Ottuma, IA. , was thrown from the vehicle and later died from her injuries. , I-90, mm 71, a 1959 Chevrolet Corvette driven by Archie Smith, 73, Kansas City, KS crashed into a cable guard rail in the median. Smith died as a result of his injuries. Movie review: 'Mad Max: Fury Road' is your thrill-ride summer blockbuster - Tulsa World

Theaters : Cinemark Tulsa, Broken Arrow Warren Theatre, AMC Southroads 20, Starworld 20, Admiral Twin Drive-in, Cinemark Broken Arrow, Eton Square, Owasso, Sand Springs. Quality : 4 stars (on a scale of zero to four stars). Mel Gibson starred as "Max" in the first three films in this series written and directed by Australian filmmaker George Miller. "Mad Max" (1979) 3. 5 stars. Aussie native Gibson, at 23, was cool as the top cop who went "mad" when his wife and child are murdered by a gang. Miller's masterpiece found Max a lost man in a dystopic badlands of violence with roaming gangs and people who will do anything to obtain gasoline. This film formed the mythology of the character, and Max's cynicism added an odd humor to the action. "Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome" (1985) 2. 5 stars. The franchise goes Hollywood with broad humor, higher production values and Gibson going toe-to-toe with Tina Turner's queen-like leader of a desert town during a power struggle.   Description 1959 Historic Ford Pickup For Sale Given all the success that Ford has recently enjoyed in the truck market, it may be surprising to know that they were the last of the "Big Three" auto makers to come out with a light duty 4-wheel drive pickup. (Dodge Power Wagon was out in the mid 40's and GMC had a 4x4 in the early 50's). This 1959 F-350 4x4 is one of only 800 that Ford built that first year. (It's also the first year that Ford called them F-150, F-250, F-350, before that it was F-1, F-2, F-3). Most came set up for commercial use i.e: tow truck, ice cream truck, and approximately 300 F-350's in 4 wheel drive came with "style side" bed as on this vehicle. The chassis, body and engine of this truck were built in Ford's Dearborn, Michigan plant, but the 4-wheel drive components came from a company in Indiana, named Marmon-Herrington, that made 4-wheel drive military vehicles. The engine (292) and drive train are all original, and the truck has been restored to original colors and condition all the way down to the correct "ND" (non directional) tires that came stock.
