The Incredible Cars of Pebble Beach Parking Lots - Motor Trend

From a Toyota FJ Rat Rod truck to a classic Mercedes-Benz convertible and multiple Ferrari LaFerraris, the automotive variety at Pebble Beach is insane. instead, it's the parking lot of a Pebble Beach that provides fantastic car porn. Over the course of a few days, we took photos of all kinds of cars in our hotel's parking lot, and even when staying away from fancy cars that appeared to be driven up by manufacturers or other journalists, there was lots to appreciate. A cut-down windshield, custom side-view mirrors, and black wheels complete the look. This Ford Focus has never won at LeMans and is outclassed by plenty of other cars in the parking lot, but it's also a great example of how much room there is to individualize cars. Possibly a SEMA show car at one point, this Focus has a wide-body kit, over-the-top front and rear fascia, and a bold rear spoiler. Plus, the yellow paint sparkles in the sunlight, making this one unique Ford. At least this article shows what goes along with the cars--the egos. Cars taking up two spots because, well, "just because". And the Porsche in the handicapped spot that I would wager a cold beer did NOT have a placard on it's rear-view mirror to justify. the Trump wanna-be's of Pebble Beach certainly aren't spilling over with class. With sunshine, a special salute to veterans and a television celebrity to add some star power, the 22nd annual Great Pottsville Cruise on Saturday drew hundreds of people to downtown. They were just coming in and coming in,” Ed Hurst, Pottsville, this year’s event co-chairman, said. “It’s filled up from Laurel Avenue all the way down to Howard Avenue,” city fire Chief Todd March said at 3:30 p. m. as he stood near Laurel and gazed southward at the very populated downtown strip. Plus, there were cruise vehicles parked on side streets including West Market and Mahantongo. Hurst wasn’t sure how many vehicles had been registered but he was very pleased with the turnout. I’d say we have 600 or more,” he said at 3:45 p. m. Cruise Chairman David W. Clews did not have an exact count at 9 p. m. Saturday, but said the turnout was “outstanding. It’s not super hot, which is good for the cars and it’s good for the people,” Hurst said. The special guest, Jessica “The Road Warrior” Samko, star of the A&E show “Shipping Wars,” said the first thing that impressed her about Pottsville’s annual cruise was its location, right in the heart of the downtown shopping district. And I’m glad it didn’t rain,” Samko said. This year, the event featured a special salute to local veterans, a vehicle give-away made possible by donations from local businesses and others.
