F-Series festival hits Wasaga Beach - Simcoe.com

Hundreds of Ford F-series pick-up trucks are expected to roll into Wasaga Beach this weekend. The first F-Series Festival takes place at Festival Square at Beach Area 1 on August 1 from 9 a. m. to 9 p. m. The event is open to Ford F-series trucks from 1951 to present day and money raised will support the Wasaga Beach Ministerial Food Bank... King said he’s always been a truck guy and felt this was a good way to bring truck owners together. “We bought a couple of trucks a couple of years ago. I went into a retirement situation and I spent too much time online like most of us and I got chatting with some of the guys on different truck websites,” he said. King isn’t certain how many will be attending but said Ford Canada has been supportive and promoted the event. King said those who attend will see some impressive vehicles and many have customized their trucks. King said the cost is $20 per truck and local businesses have donated numerous prizes.
