Hole-in-one winner gets Hyundai Veloster - Easton Courier
Michael Battista from Wappinger Falls, N. Y. scored a hole-in-one at the 11th Annual Easton Lions Golf Classic held July 20 at the Connecticut Golf Club in Easton. Battista’s tee shot at the 10th hole landed a few feet past the hole and spun back in, earning him a brand new 2014 Hyundai Veloster from Key Hyundai in Milford. Key Hyundai has been a loyal sponsor of the Lions fund-raising event for many years, but this is the first time a hole-in-one has been scored. Proceeds from the Golf Classic support such Lions causes as Eye Research and finding a cure for blindness, the Connecticut Food Bank, Juvenile Diabetes research, the Fidelco Guide Dog Foundation, the Easton Senior Center, and many other causes.
