2016 Infiniti Q70 Premium Select Edition Sits Pretty at Pebble - Motor Trend
A bright color like the silver on the Pebble car works well to contrast with those wheels and the black-colored lower rear fascia. Having driven up to Pebble Beach in a Q70L 3. 7, we like the wood trim but can understand how some drivers might like the extra brightness of the real aluminum trim. Quite a luxury look for a mid-sized sedan (according to the EPA), and one of the few mid-sizers that offers a V8. Ford and Chevy with their 4 cylinders will still sell more but even the V6 in this car does well. The reports indicate the Chinese were instrumental in Infiniti stretching the wheelbase of the Q70. they still like larger, more spacious interiors. Ford is supposed to do that to the Taurus too, which currently has a very small wheelbase (about 113") which is smaller than their mid-sizers used to be. . I don't think Lexus is winning because of some interior design lines. They are winning solely on the back of rebadged Toyotas like Lexus RX and ES which are super popular with soccer mom crowd who collectively know precisely nothing about cars.
