Officers were detailed on a report of an attempted motor vehicle theft, and the victim stated that he had observed that the Neon's driver's side door was open, and a screwdriver had been stuck in the ignition. • The attempted theft of a green Jeep Cherokee was reported on Aug. Officers were detailed on a report of an attempted motor vehicle theft, and a witness at the scene stated that he had observed two males breaking into the Cherokee. Damage was observed to the ignition and driver's side door of the Jeep, and the investigation remains open. Criminal Mischief to a Motor Vehicle. Criminal mischief to a motor vehicle was reported on Aug. • A robbery was reported on Aug. The victim stated that two males entered his gas station in a white older-model Hyundai Sonata. The rear passenger exited the vehicle and allegedly pushed a gun into the victim's ribs and said, "give me your money or I will shoot you. " The victim said that he handed the suspect $250 in cash, before the suspects fled south on Belmont Avenue.
