Hamer was hit by a 2009 Infiniti G37 when he tried to cross the interstate around 9:51 p. m, police said. The car was driven by Sandeep Gaddam, 33. It is not known why Hammer was walking on the bridge. Previous report: A man was struck by a car and seriously injured when he tried to walk across southbound Interstate 75 at the Brent Spence Bridge Sunday night. Russell Hamer, 31, was hit by a 2009 Infiniti G37 when he tried to cross the interstate around 9:51 p. m, police said. The car was driven by Sandeep Gaddam, 33.
